On the Runway with AM&T – April/May 2008
Do you check your email?? When is the last time you checked our message board? Amanda’s Models & Talent is
very different from other after-school activities. We offer many exciting opportunities to our students such as local
commercials and film experience, and castings/auditions in Orlando, Atlanta and beyond. You can only stay
connected with us if you do your part by checking the message board and your emails. If you feel “out of the loop”….

Yes, we have switched the rooms again!! We are growing again and really needed the extra room that the lobby
provided. Thanks Amber and Blake for pulling up the carpet and to Aaron for refinishing the floor in our new lobby.
Be sure to park in the back and enter in that door. The front door is now reserved for staff.
We have been asked to produce a fashion show on Wednesday, April 23rd at 11:00am and 1:00pm for the
Administrator Assistant’s Day at Charlie Trippers. Please let me know ASAP if your child will be available. This is a
school day!
We have a fashion show on Saturday, April 26th at 11:00am at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center for Diva
Day 2008. Please let me know if you are available so I may begin assigning stores.
We have a fashion show on Sunday, May 4th at 3:00pm for the 3rd Annual Mother/Daughter Tea at Mathis. This is a
very large event. We need 100% participation. Please mark your calendars! Sorry dads! This one is for Moms,
sisters, aunts and female cousins only!! Admission to the show and the tea is $10.00 for family of models and $5.00
for our models should they wish to stay and eat. This is our fundraiser for AMTC and we are also donating to the
Special Olympics.
AMTC Participants: Please note you have a workshop Sunday, April 13th at Mathis and Sunday, April 27th at
Mathis. Both begin at 2:00pm and last until 4:00pm.
AMTC Participants: Fundraising parents have a meeting this Wednesday, April 9th at 5:30pm at Amanda’s Models &
Talent. Please email Tina Guess if you cannot attend. Her email is tmguess1990@yahoo.com
Glynis Arban will be here June 6th and 7th for a photo shoot. Glynis is the most sought-after NYC fashion testing
photographer. $325 for 2 looks, styling, posing, hair/makeup, and photo selections. Retouching will be provided for
selected photos. You will own the copyright-released disc. A deposit of $50.00 is required to hold your spot! Don’t
miss out! We were booked to capacity in December and many had to travel to Atlanta to shoot with her before
AMTC. Those patiently waiting for retouched images will have those by Monday, April 14th.
Remember, the last five minutes of your class time is for questions. Please be sure to come in and see how well your
child is progressing. If you need to use your child’s entire class time for questions/concerns etc., please let us know.

please reserve a spot with Glynis in June.
We are going to have Lights, Camera, and Action Camp in June and July. These will be one week camps from 9:
00am to 12:30pm and will take the place of weekly class during those two months. Price is $100.00 per student and
this does include a tshirt, DVD and snacks. The students LOVED the camp last year. This will be on a first come,
first serve basis so please reserve your spot ASAP. Sibling discounts are available.
Comp cards can be ordered anytime for $77.50.
